Ideation™ Framework : Visionization

Transforming the idea into a viable business vision.

Formation:

At this stage, the idea is in a dream state that is in the entrepreneur’s mind that is very hazy and foggy. The solution to an identified problem exists in the form of a set of wishful thoughts in the mind.

Communication:

At this stage, we participate with the entrepreneur to bring the altitude down to about 30000 ft and bring to a level where the thoughts take the shape of an idea that is communicable to trusted advisors. We brainstorm to bring different minds together to get various perspectives to leverage on the collective consciousness.

Validation:

The idea is validated to test its performance on various parameters. All greyareas demystified by divergent thinking to authenticate the routes of the idea in solving the problem. Domain expertise is roped in and market analysis is conducted to arrive at a defined business opportunity that revolves around the idea.

Conceptualization:

The opportunity identified is defined as a concept. A concept that is defined by boundaries that rationally limits the idea.

Commercialization:

The commercial viability of the business opportunity is adjudged if it were to be taken to the market as a product.

Strategisation:

The business modeling is undertaken to strategize the opportunity in terms of market focus, market input and market research. If need be, expertise in the area of market research is roped in to gauge the position of the idea in the market. The output of this phase is a complete business plan in terms of funding plans and revenue models.

Framation:

This is the final phase of the ideation process framework, wherein the dream that existed in the mind of the entrepreneur would have undergone a complete transformation to become a valid and well defined business opportunity to be designed as a product. The term framation has been used here to bring out the aspect of a well structured “frame” around the initial idea that would now be executable and measurable.
