Greening is on their compass
"Everyone talks about saving trees, but does nothing about it. Here is an exception. A bunch of techies from the city are not only planting herbal saplings, but also plan to maintain them for the next two years.
The company and the school will jointly maintain the saplings with the help of students. Naveen Lakkur, president and CEO of Compassites, said, “Students need to study about these herbal plants to know their importance. The campus has got less space, so we decided to go for a small number.” The selection of the plant variety was outsourced to IndusHerbs, suppliers of natural herbs in Bangalore. “They will be working with us and will help students look after the plants in the next two years,” Naveen said.
