Naveen Lakkur - President & CEO

Naveen has more than fifteen years of experience most of which was in leadership positions in technology based startups. Naveen is a serial entrepreneur and has been involved in five different startups in India and Malaysia. Most recently he was instrumental in founding, growing and eventually selling an Indian subsidiary of a US based services company.

Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Naveen was managing large technology projects in the areas of Insurance, CRM and Human Resources for companies such as Wipro and Digital Corporation (now HP).

Naveen frequently speaks in various industry conferences on the topics of entrepreneurship, leadership and growing companies.

Shravan Siramdas- President,Compassites US

Shravan Siramdas – as a versatile, visionary, results oriented IT leader has over 19 years of IT experience, working on best of the breed products and product development initiatives for Tier-1 Software Vendors such as Siebel, Oracle, PeopleSoft. Salesforce.Com, Microsoft, Agile, BEA, Taxware ADP and SAP. He has expertise in the design and delivery of cost effective, high performance information technology infrastructures and applications to address complex business problems. His area of Specialization is in IT Technology, large IT Departments reorganization, ERP, eCommerce B2B & B2C, eProcurement, and CRM projects. With a broad international experience in executing and managing projects in the US, Europe, APac and EMEA, he has strong multi-shore delivery experience with a proven ability to build and manage highly creative and energized, focused teams. He has extensive qualifications in all facets of project life cycle, from initial feasibility analysis and conceptual design through documentation, implementation, user training and enhancements.

He has deep business process & functional expertise developed over a period of time being part of some of the industry’s best integration solutions built and offered as their core product offerings by large enterprise software companies such as Oracle, Siebel, PeopleSoft, Salesforce.Com, BEA, Portal etc.

Currently Shravan is the President, Compassites US entity. Prior to Compassites, Shravan was the Senior Director, Head of OPD (Outsource Product Development) at Sierra Atlantic, US. He was involved in executing and managing end to end projects and relationships.

Ajay Rao - Business Head, Odondo

Ajay Rao has 12 years of professional experience, working across multiple companies like Manugistics, CSC, i2 Technologies and Compassites Software.

Currently, Ajay is the business head for OdondoTM, which is the flagship product of Compassites. His responsibilities include delivery, business development, team growth and product management.

Prior to Compassites, Ajay was Senior Delivery Manager at i2 Technologies in India. In this role he was responsible for heading one of their consulting practices. Ajay began his journey in Supply Chain at Manugistics Inc. and further added to his expertise at Computer Sciences Corporation in the US.

Over the last year, Ajay has been deeply involved in the field of corporate governance, primarily focusing on good governance and ethical reporting. He is well versed with the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley act as well as SEBI clause 49, and is passionate about fostering good governance in organizations and encouraging employees to come forward and report instances of unethical behavior and fraud.

Ajay is very interested in outdoor activities and takes every opportunity to go hiking and trekking.

Rajesh Kannan - Director Delivery

Rajesh Kannan has over 12 years of experience in the IT industry. He is one of the co-founder and partner at Compassites Software Solutions. He has been instrumental in starting the company and is involved in the day to day operations of the company. Rajesh’s role at Compassites spreads across operations, delivery, business realization and strategic initiatives.

Prior to Compassites Rajesh was involved in setting up the India entity for US based Karna Global Technologies. He was part of the team that built the initial ecosystem of Karna Softech India and moved on to play pivotal roles in delivery and execution.

Prior to Karna Rajesh was with Wipro Technologies and was offshoring projects from UK.

Ramesh Rajamani - Technical Architect

Ramesh Rajamani has 10 years of professional experience in developing, designing and architecting solutions for projects. Ramesh is the co-founder and technical architect of Compassites, helping in building solution architecture, technical architecture and design for various projects.

Prior to Compassites, Ramesh was a technical architect at eFunds Corporation (now Fidelity Information Systems) architecting and designing solutions for financial products. Ramesh has good experience architecting and designing complex systems at enterprise class level.

Ramesh has worked on different technology flavors including Java/J2EE, .Net, Ruby on Rails PHP and open source tools and frameworks. Ramesh has co-authored a book “Java Servlet Programming Bible” published by John Wiley sons. Ramesh is also the author of blog “TechMasala – Technology Spice Rack” (www.techmasala.com) where he writes posts on various technologies and current trends in technology and also presents key tips on the basics for beginners entering the software industry.

Ramesh is passionate about teaching and grooming fresh software engineers on technology and basic concepts. He is pro agile programming and agile process and has been playing agile coach for projects in Compassites. Ramesh’s hobbies include reading books, Origami, Photography and Painting.

Ravi Chandran - QA Manager

Ravi Chandran has 17 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, working across multiple organizations including Indian Air Force, Syntel Incorporated, Incisive technologies and Compassites Software.

Currently, Ravi Chandran heads the Quality assurance department and is the Management representative for the Compassites Quality Management system. His responsibilities include Internal Auditing, Independent software testing practice, Business analysis function and QA team growth.

Ravi Chandran has a passion for testing and believes in “test to break”. He has set up the quality management system and successfully led the company towards ISO 9001-2000 certification.

Prior to Compassites, Ravi Chandran was Test Manager at Syntel india, where he led many initiatives including on job training for newly recruited test engineers.

Ravi Chandran is keen on fitness and starts everyday with a 6 Km run.

Girish Karachiwala - Technical Architect

Girish Karachiwala has 9 years of professional experience working across multiple domains like pharmaceutical, banking and finance, securities, insurance, customer relationship management, mortgage, social networking and statistical data management.

Currently, Girish is the center head of Compassites Pune branch. His responsibilities include looking after day to day operations of the center, including delivery, business growth and team growth.

Girish began his professional journey as a corporate trainer at Pune. And prior to Compassites, Girish was a technical architect cum project manager at TCG-Ivega where his responsibilities included providing technical expertise to various projects for customers in United States and Europe, heading various technical initiatives in order to improve technical competency at Bangalore center, project and account management for some of the accounts.

Over the one and half year at Compassites, Girish has been involved in account management for some of the accounts in the space of product incubation and in setting up Pune Center for Compassites.
