CR/08/21 [Sr. Software Engineer]

• Ability to generate Software design specifications

• Ability to generate designs to support new requirements on an existing system

• Ability to understand requirements documents and high- level architecture

• Object oriented development in JavaScript and Action script 3

• Experience with 3rd party JavaScript libraries – MooTools preferred

• Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS with the ability to manipulate these through the browser DOM

• Experience in AJAX development calling REST based services

• Experience with MVC based frameworks

• Adobe Flex 3 development experience including:
I. Adobe Cairngorm MVC framework
II. Making server side calls via Http Service
III. Knowledge of the Flash graphics manipulation – both vector and bitmap manipulation

• Experience in the creation of JSP pages to act as host containers for rich internet applications.

• Experience with ATG E-commerce solutions is a plus

• Familiarity with consuming server based services from Flex applications through:
I. AJAX
II. SOAP
III. AMF-Remote Object

• XML/XSD/Web Services:
I. SOAP – Simple Object Access Protocol
II. REST – Representational State Transfer
III. Ability to generate and work with XML schemas
IV. Understanding of Web Services Definition Language WSDL

• Java experience including:
I. Java EE - JBOSS
II. JSP, Servlets, WebWork

• Knowledge of localization techniques

• Understanding of encryption and hashing algorithms

• Good knowledge of software algorithms and design patterns

• History of successful software commercialization projects

• Knowledge and proven execution of Software Development processes (e.g., SCM)

• Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, team player

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
