CR/08/02 Job Description

• Experience in Installations, configurations, and maintenance of the organization's LAN server and workstations.

• Inter office network and domain setup experience is a must.

• Experience in installing, configuring and maintaining VPN would be an added advantage.

• Management of server performance.

• Implementing security policies and procedures and maintaining network security and safeguarding the network.

• Works with multiple hardware and software platforms at an intermediate level. Requires 2-4 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. Deep knowledge in installing/configuring/maintaining Windows based systems and at least one of *nix system is mandatory.

• Bind, DNS and DHCP Knowledge .

• Domain Name Registration principals and deployment.

• Unix and Windows Administration.

• Quickly troubleshoot and address issues related to hardware and software and clients machines.

• Create and maintain software audits, keep track of software licenses.

• Monitor network and its bandwidth. Assurance of availability of bandwidth to all.

• Work with network providers and hosting companies, to manage, configure of network and web servers.

• Maintain and configure DNS internally and with existing host provider.

• Install, configure and manage all the internet applications using Apache and Tomcat.
